Mid-finals boost as big Panther re-signs

The Panthers have received a mid-finals boost with the news gun forward Moses Leota has committed to the club for a further two years.

Leota - who lines up at prop in this week's NRL semi final clash with Parramatta - has re-signed to the end of the 2024 season.

"I'm extremely grateful to re-sign and have the opportunity to continue my career as a Panther," Leota said.

"This new deal means a lot to me and my family because this is our home. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

Leota has played 103 NRL games since debuting in 2016. He has also represented Samoa in that time.

He will be vital to the Panthers' premiership tilt as they face the Eels and then if they get through that, a blockbuster meeting with Melbourne in the preliminary final.
